WHAT IT RESOLVES

Does the Anti-Money Laundering Law apply to your business? Does this transaction require reporting? Can you accept this payment in cash?

We provide the answer first, followed by the article that supports it, with a link to the official source.

• Does it apply to me? A short questionnaire that helps determine if your activity is among those listed in Article 17 of the LFPIORPI.

• Threshold calculator. Converts UMA (Unit of Measurement and Update) to pesos using the value in effect on the date of the transaction.

• Six-month accumulation. Adds up transactions from the same client for the same type of transaction, according to the last paragraph of Article 17.

• Cash verifier. Article 32 is a prohibition, not a reporting threshold.

• Calendar of obligations with local reminders.

• Transaction log, client records, and compliance audit.

HOW WE WORK

The UMA (Unit of Measurement and Update) takes effect on February 1st. A transaction on January 15, 2026, is measured using the 2025 UMA. The app always uses the UMA in effect on the transaction date.

Each result records which version of the rules and which UMA value was used for calculation.

When a rule is not confirmed by an official source, we indicate this and do not issue a definitive result. We prefer this to fabricating a figure.

• We do NOT ask for your SAT (Mexican Tax Administration Service) credentials and we do NOT file reports for you. You submit them yourself through the official portal.
